That Obscure Object of Desire

“The Identification of a monumental Site, is by Accident, an Appropriation of Memory, in that, it Precludes the identifying Situation, at Site.  So, the Relation of it then, becomes, at its problematic Base: Economic.  And with eyes closed, we steady ourselves in the Blur, which I take to be the Sensation of the initial entering-into said Site. In *this Sense: I Become, the Cartographer, proper. A Mapping in the Skin (and not the Bones) of What was (happily) endured at one Point, in my Eyes, whereas now, Being is being-against a Wall.  In Other Words: the State of being-alive-in-the-moment, when our Eyes met, is unquestioned in its diminished Absence, diminished because: it is not, nor will ever be, Foregone.”
