a herd of whispers
and hold on to the
latter syllables
as fact.
An entirety of motion
doesn’t make motion
move.
I spoke to you
once,
and speaking makes
spoken to
solid, if only.
Words are
pleasure
and I had the pleasure
of speaking words
to you.
Had I not thought
of it,
I would have
spoken more
(words, I mean).
